Sheaba Chacko, LPC-MHSP

As a South Indian first-born daughter of immigrants, Sheaba never saw herself becoming anything other than what her parents dreamed of - a doctor, engineer, or nurse. To their initial dismay, they found their daughter drifting toward the humanities and were concerned about whether or not she would be able to make a living. Fortunately for them, Sheaba inherited their ingenuity, determination, and courage. After becoming a first generation graduate with a Master's degree in Mental Health, Sheaba secured her counseling license and set out to run her own Private Practice, Fearless Permission.

Driven by enthusiasm, grit, and something to prove - Sheaba managed to take care of everyone but herself and spiraled into burnout in 2018. After a thorough life review, a healthy dose of therapy for the therapist, and elite business coaching, Sheaba came to understand the role of Imposter Syndrome in her own life - tracing it as far back as elementary school. It became clear that something had to change. In the breakdown to break through process, she figured out who she really is and who she could most help - Anxious Achievers.

Anxious Achievers are high performers who are ambitious and kind but struggle to find ease and contentment in life. They are particularly vulnerable to burnout and imposter syndrome, but are difficult to flag. From the outside they are positive and upbeat, but behind the scenes they feel the weight of the world on their shoulders. Sheaba knows what Anxious Achievers are struggling with and how badly the world needs their contributions and leadership. She aspires to partner alongside them to help them accomplish what they really want - to build more, stress less, enjoy and repeat!
