Jerry Schreiber, CPA, known as the "Master of Disaster," will host a live virtual webinar, providing insights on Hurricane Helene Disaster Tax Matters. Attendees can participate in a town hall-style open discussion to ask questions and engage on disaster and practice management topics.

TSCPA will host a webinar on Disaster Filing Deadlines, Casualty Losses, and a Town Hall with Jerry Schreiber, CPA. Schreiber is known as the CPA Master of Disaster and is the author of Documenting a Casualty Loss in the Journal of Accountancy and has been actively involved in all US disaster tax matters.

Jerry Schreiber

Jerry Schreiber is a Partner in the Louisiana accounting firm of Schreiber & Schreiber. He received his BBA from Loyola University. He is a member of the AICPA, SLCPA, and New Orleans Estate Planning Council. He is currently Chair of the AICPA Disaster Relief Task Force and has served on many AICPA Committees and has spoken at FICPA events in the past on disaster and hurricane matters.

He has appeared on IRS' Tax Talk Today and Nationwide Tax Forums and authored continuing education courses on Individual Income Taxes, IRS Practice and Procedure, Current Developments, Casualty Losses, Hurricane Katrina Tax Matters, GO Zone Act, and Circular 230.
