TSCPA Membership Classification Available to Non-CPAs

September 13, 2023

Did you know that non-CPA members of your firm or organization are now eligible to join TSCPA as an affiliate member? In an effort to adapt to ongoing changes in the profession, including shifts in employer recruitment and retention strategies and evolving services provided by CPAs, TSCPA’s membership welcomed the affiliate member classification through a bylaw change effective earlier this year. This change offers membership opportunities for individuals who are not CPAs but are integral to the profession. Affiliate members may include individuals such as firm administrators, IT professionals or other individuals who work alongside your organization’s CPA members.

One of the central objectives of introducing the affiliate membership classification is to address the increasing demand for talent within the accounting sector. By expanding membership to non-CPA employees, TSCPA aims to provide opportunities for career growth and development within its community. Membership grants affiliate members access to a wide array of resources, networking opportunities and educational programs offered by TSCPA.
