Staff Spotlight: Caroline Keithline, CPA
The career choice for TSCPA Senior Accountant Caroline Keithline, CPA, may sound familiar to many TSCPA members. “With so many other majors, you can be locked into a specific career and workplace,” she says about her decision to major in accounting at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated in 2013. “An accounting degree can lead to a career in any industry. We can work in public accounting, manufacturing, health care, nonprofit and government. The possibilities are endless.”
Caroline has worked for TSCPA since 2016 and says one of her favorite parts of her job is working with the Life Associates program, which funds TSCPA scholarships via the Educational and Memorial Foundation of TSCPA. “This has been an amazing growing opportunity to learn fund accounting. It has also been a privilege to see the generosity of our members firsthand,” Caroline says. “TSCPA’s scholarship awards help accounting students across the state continue their education. This is made possible by contributions from our members who want to see the next generation of CPAs succeed. I enjoy playing a small part in such an important program to both our current and future members.”
Originally from West Tennessee, Caroline currently lives in the Nashville area with her husband Aaron and their 4-month-old daughter Sophie.
