For TSCPA Chapter Relations Specialist Karen Eversman, joining the realm of membership services with the society felt like a natural fit. “My interest in membership services stemmed from a blend of my educational background and my personal interests,” she says. “While my academic background is in finance, I’ve consistently found joy in building connections and providing exceptional customer experiences.”

In her role at TSCPA, where she has worked since 2022, Karen is the main contact for TSCPA’s chapters, providing chapter services, newsletters and support for events. “What I enjoy most about my role as a chapter relations specialist is the direct engagement with our remarkable chapter officers and the opportunity to connect with our members across the state,” she says. “Witnessing the leadership within our chapters and interacting with such dynamic professionals is extremely rewarding.”

A native of St. Louis, Karen earned her bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University, and she is also a licensed cosmetologist. “For more than seven years, I owned and operated a thriving 10-chair salon, known for delivering some of the best cuts in the city!” She moved to Nashville in 2022 and says it “truly feels like home now.” Karen’s sister and 11-year-old nephew reside in Spring Hill, and her parents split their time between Nashville and St. Louis.
