Warren Receives Lifetime Achievement Award From Tennessee Society of CPAs
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Doug Warren, CPA, CFF, CFE, CGMA, of Madisonville, was recently presented with the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (TSCPA) 2024 TSCPApex Lifetime Achievement Award.
The TSCPApex Awards Program recognizes the many ways that individuals contribute significant time, energy and intellect to developing the accounting profession and fostering its success. The Lifetime Achievement Award is given in recognition of a TSCPA member who has exhibited leadership, made significant contributions to the profession and had an outstanding record of service to the society and the local community.
Over his 41 years of TSCPA membership, Warren has made his mark through his commitment to service, holding many leadership roles in the society. Serving as the 2017-2018 TSCPA Board Chair, as a member of TSCPA Council and in multiple committee leadership roles, Warren has selflessly dedicated his time and talent to ensuring TSCPA continues to thrive.
Warren began his career working for his father, who was a public accountant. After receiving his CPA license in 1982, Warren worked to build his own firm, known today as WarrenJackson CPAs. Along the way, he earned the credentials of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and has continually used his extensive knowledge to give back to the profession. Since 1992, Warren has been a lecturer for TSCPA, the American Society of Accountants, the Professional Development Institute, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which awarded him its prestigious Outstanding Discussion Leader Award five times. Over his career, he has also held leadership roles in organizations such as the AICPA Board of Examiners, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy and the Tennessee Association of Public Accountants.
