Tennessee Society of CPAs Spotlights What's Next in Technology

September 26, 2024

The Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA), in partnership with CPA Crossings, recently released a report addressing the use of technology in the accounting profession and key challenges to technology adoption faced by firms.

The report, “2024 CPA Firm Tech Report: Expert Guidance on Where To Go Next,” surveys respected accounting technology subject matter experts who work with CPA firms of all sizes on technology strategy and implementation to address five critical technology challenges accounting firms consistently face. It also provides a “Digital Maturity Model” and “Firm Tech Ecosystem” as well as offers a deep dive into practical AI applications.

In addition to the report, TSCPA is offering an On Demand webinar that delves into the key findings and strategic recommendations from the report. The webinar, “Digital Transformation for CPA Firms: Insights and Strategies From the 2024 CPA Firm Tech Report,” is complimentary to both TSCPA members and non-members and offers continuing professional education credit.

“Only 9% of accountants believe they are getting the best use and value from their technology, which illustrates how much room there is for growth in this area,” said TSCPA President/CEO Kara Fitzgerald, CPA, CGMA, CAE. “This report and webinar offer accounting firms of all sizes guidance on how to address the critical issues that may be holding them back from getting the most from their technology.”
