Taxpayer Advocate Service Problem Solving Day to be Held Feb. 2

January 20, 2022

On Feb. 2 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. CST, the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) will be available to assist practitioners virtually with client tax problems they have not been able to resolve with the IRS. The TAS' goal is to provide one-on-one guidance, direction on next steps and case building ideas so you can help your clients. If your client’s problem meets the criteria, a case advocate will be assigned to work with you to resolve your client’s issue.

You can schedule up to two client issue appointments on this day. Please have a Power of Attorney Form (Form 2848) ready if you would like to discuss your client's specific information. Click here to schedule your appointment(s).

The Taxpayer Advocate Service is an independent organization within the Internal Revenue Service that helps taxpayers and protects taxpayer rights.
