Master Your Mental Fitness: Strengthen Your Mind, Reduce Stress & Perform at Your Best

Start: 8:30AM

End:  9:45AM

The more mentally fit you are, the better you're able to navigate stress, uncertainty, competing priorities, and the everyday challenges of work and life. Your level of Mental Fitness is one of the strongest predictors of both your performance and your well-being, yet research suggests that nearly 80% of people operate below the level needed to consistently perform at their best.

The good news? Like physical fitness, Mental Fitness can be strengthened with practice.

In this interactive session, you'll discover the mental habits that quietly undermine your effectiveness—from self-doubt and perfectionism to overcommitting and saying "yes" when you really mean "no." You'll learn how to recognize when your Saboteurs are running the show and gain practical strategies to shift into a more positive, resilient, and intentional mindset.

You'll leave with simple tools to reduce stress, respond more effectively under pressure, make better decisions, and show up with greater confidence both professionally and personally.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Understand what Mental Fitness is and why it matters to well-being and performance
  • Recognize the Saboteur patterns that contribute to stress, reactivity, and unhelpful habits such as overcommitting and difficulty setting boundaries.
  • Identify when the Survival Brain has taken over and understand its impact on decision-making and relationships.
  • Apply practical Mental Fitness techniques to interrupt Saboteur patterns and respond more intentionally.

Beyond the Balance Sheet: Designing a Meaningful Family Legacy

Start: 10:00AM

End:  10:50AM

A meaningful legacy is about more than wealth, it's about the values, purpose, and impact we inspire across generations. Join us to explore how thoughtful conversations can help families define what matters most and create a legacy that reflects their vision for the future. Session Objectives: Discover the key elements of a meaningful family legacy beyond financial assets. Learn practical ways to initiate and guide meaningful conversations with clients and their families about values, purpose, and long-term vision. Gain practical approaches to engaging the next generation and integrating legacy conversations into your client relationships.

Leading From the Inside Out: Emotional Intelligence as a Core Competency

Start: 11:00AM

End:  12:15PM

Most leaders are promoted for technical competence.  They stay effective - or fail - based on how they handle people.

This interactive session equips leaders with a research-grounded framework for understanding and applying emotional intelligence in real leadership contexts.  Through structured reflection, partner exercises, and applied practice, participants will work directly with the tools - then take them back to their teams.

Participants will leave with:

  • A practical model of EI grounded in research
  • Mindfulness techniques for regulating emotional reactivity in high-stakes moments
  • Skills for labeling emotions precisely and identifying the mental models that drive them
  • A reappraisal toolkit for shifting perspective without dismissing reality
  • Coaching language that builds trust

When There's No Perfect Answer

Start: 1:00PM

End:  2:15PM

Do I take the promotion?
Do I set the boundary?
Do I speak up?
Do I stay?
Do I leave?
Do I advocate for myself?
Do I say yes or do I finally give myself permission to say no?

When there's no perfect answer, you still must lead.

Decisions that shape our lives rarely arrive with perfect timing, complete information, or guaranteed outcomes. Expertise and excellence create opportunities, but building a meaningful life and leading well require more. They require courage, confidence, competence, and trusting our judgment for clarity that aligns choices with the future we seek to create.

This session explores a world where there is no perfect answer and how competence, character, and consequence influence the decisions that define us. The life you're leading is the one you're deciding.

Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize how everyday decisions influence leadership credibility, professional reputation, and fulfillment.
  • Apply the Competence, Character, and Consequence framework to navigate complex decisions with confidence.
  • Identify strategies to lead with authenticity amid uncertainty and competing priorities.
  • Evaluate how values, goals, and intentional choices shape long-term success and personal fulfilment
