Hello Nashville Chapter members,
As we move past busy season and head into summer, I hope everyone is finding a chance to catch their breath and enjoy the warmer weather.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our chapter elections in March. I’m excited to introduce the 2026-27 Nashville Chapter Board of Directors and grateful for the members who have stepped up to serve. They will officially begin their terms after the 95th Annual Meeting and Convention in June, and I know they will do a fantastic job leading the chapter in the year ahead.

I also want to sincerely thank you for allowing me to serve as chapter president this year. It has truly been an honor to lead this chapter, and I appreciate the support and involvement of our members throughout the year.
We had a great time at Future CPA Night on April 16 at First Horizon Park, where members and students gathered at Hit City Hall to celebrate the profession. The evening included recognition of 15 recent CPA Exam passers and a $1,000 donation to the accounting department of each school represented. Although the weather moved in and the game was called early, we hope everyone made it home safely. Makeup outfield tickets for summer Nashville Sounds games will be available soon. Please watch your email for details.
Looking ahead, I hope you’ll join us for our chapter meeting on May 19 at Belmont University. Mike Brand, CPA, CGMA, will present an Accounting and Auditing Update, with lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. and CPE starting at 12 p.m.
Also coming up is the Nashville Chapter Golf Scramble on May 29 at Towhee Club. This annual event is always a fun way to connect with members, clients, and friends while enjoying a great day on the course. I encourage you to register and join us.
TSCPA is going coastal to Isle of Palms, South Carolina, for the 95th Annual Meeting and Convention, June 9–12, 2026. One of the highlights of the convention is the silent auction fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting TSCPA Educational & Memorial Foundation. Each year, TSCPA chapters support the auction by donating items and experiences, helping fund more than $300,000 annually in scholarships for Tennessee accounting students.
We invite you to consider donating an item or experience to this year’s silent auction. Suggested donations include airline miles, hotel points, vacation property stays, event or season tickets, and unique experiences or gift packages. To donate, please email Karen Eversman at keversman@tscpa.com.
Thank you again for your support this year. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
Sincerely,
Ryan Myers, CPA
