Hello Chattanooga Chapter members,
I hope everyone has enjoyed a smooth start to the spring season and a well-earned break following another busy season. As we move into May, I am pleased to share updates on our chapter leadership, upcoming meeting and other TSCPA opportunities.
I’m excited to introduce the 2026-27 Chattanooga Chapter Board of Directors and grateful for the members who have stepped up to serve. They will officially begin their terms following the 95th Annual Meeting and Convention in June, and I am confident they will do an excellent job leading the chapter in the year ahead.
Your 2026-27 Chattanooga Chapter Board of Directors:
President: Hunter Williams At-Large Director: Michael Cox
President-Elect: Joyce Ann Mattice At-Large Director: Larvizo Wright
Vice President: David Dennard At-Large Director: Hunter Wallace
Secretary: Andrea Bonds At-Large Director: Kristen Lusk
Treasurer: Sean Stallings At-Large Director: Danielle Talley
Past President: Bryan Mattice At-Large Director: Jordan Barnes
I also want to thank you for allowing me to serve as chapter president this year. It has been an honor to lead this chapter, and I appreciate the support and involvement of our members throughout the year.
Please plan to join us for a chapter meeting on Thursday, May 21, at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., and CPE will start at 12 p.m. The program will feature an Accounting and Auditing Update presented by Dr. Amelia Hart, CPA, CGMA.
TSCPA is going coastal to Isle of Palms, South Carolina, for the 95th Annual Meeting and Convention, June 9–12, 2026. One of the highlights of the convention is the silent auction fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting TSCPA Educational & Memorial Foundation. Each year, TSCPA chapters support the auction by donating items and experiences, helping fund more than $300,000 annually in scholarships for Tennessee accounting students.
We invite you to consider donating an item or experience to this year’s silent auction. Suggested donations include airline miles, hotel points, vacation property stays, event or season tickets, and unique experiences or gift packages. To donate, please email Karen Eversman at keversman@tscpa.com.
Keep an eye out for upcoming details on a chapter outing being planned to watch the Chattanooga Lookouts play ball. This is a fantastic opportunity to step away from the spreadsheets, enjoy some fresh air and connect in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or just there for the stadium snacks, we’d love to have you join us. Watch your email for more information.
Thank you again for your support this year. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
Sincerely,
Bryan Mattice, CPA
TSCPA Chattanooga Chapter President
